June Favorites

Hey Guys!
So I'm kind of late doing this blog post but I was on vacation and I didn't have time to write it before I left so here it goes!

How cute did that graphic turn out!
Anyways let's start with music:

Music
Steffan Argus: So I found out about him just at the start of June and I've been LITERALLY OBSESSED and the fact that he liked one of my tweets is just axbhsyaboid.
I WANT TO THANK MEGHAN HUGHES FOR BLESSING ME WITH HIS MUSIC because if it wasn't for her snap I would have no idea of the masterpiece that is his EP. My favorite song from his EP is "Abandon Ship" it's just lit, that's all I have to say. Honestly if you haven't listened to him, do it because you will not regret it. Also, he is one of the possible actors to play Theodor Finch in All the bright places AND IM FLIPPIN EXCITED BECAUSE HE IS PERFECT FOR IT OMG. okay I'm done fangirling.  ....for now...

Trevor Wesley: "Chivalry is dead" Another song found from a Youtuber but this time it was Danielle Carolan in her Top 30 songs for summer video and honestly this song is a jam.

Camila Cabello: "Crying in the Club" I heard this song when it came out and I didn't like it AT ALL. But then they started putting it on the radio and it grew on me hahaha.

If you all wanna check out any of the songs check out my June Favorites 2017 Spotify playlist: https://open.spotify.com/user/lorypanda/playlist/7kha4ZaUMJDsZCnlQZXgDe

Series

Riverdale: This show is simply awesome, it has so many twists and turns and plot twist but it's sooo gooood. Also, this show has rekindled the childhood love I had for Cole Sprouse, and yes Jughead is my favorite character.

The Commute: This is an AwesomenessTV web series staring Claudia Sulewski and yes... Staffan Argus AHH yes, yes, him again but trust me it's good they are on their second season already and I think there's only one episode left so y'all should check it out, it's really cute.

Books
I basically finished my Summer TBR already and I don't really know which ones I've read this month but I did Read Love & Gelato and  La Víspera Del Grito and they where really good. I will be doing a full review on both of them when I do my Summer Wrap Up.

Random
Memory Journal: I had a notebook laying around my room that has the most cutest pages with little doodles on them about traveling and stuff and I had been wanting to do something with it for a while so I came up with the idea of using it as a memory journal where I can put pictures and little scraps of places I've been and things I've done and it's turning out really cute!

Blushy pink: I've been LOVING this color. It looks so cute on clothes and pretty much anything. If you go to my WeHeartIt you will find a blushy pink explosion hahaha.

I think that is all I have for now.
See you next time!

May Favorites

Hey Guys!
ITS TIME FOR A FAVORITESSSSS
so I just notices that I haven't posted a May favorites in about two years. wow. time flies. Anyways, as some of you may know May is my birthday month and boy has it been slow. My birthday is at the end of May and since I anticipate it so much then its always one of the longest months for me.
But lets get this going with all of the things I have loved this month.

Music
Harry Styles: Harry came out with an album this month so of course it was heavenly and my favorite songs from it are: Two Ghost and Ever Since New York

Forever In Your Mind: I've loved these guys for a while now and the came out with TWO AMAZING SONGS and honestly every time I listen to them I feel like I'm in a music video... These are Smooth and Missing

Zayn: Since he left the band I've always had mixed feelings for him and his music(I didn't like his album at all) but I don't know why, Still Got Time has been my anthem! Its been on repeat the whole month.

The Tide: I've made a whole blog post on them and yes I still love them and they've been releasing music so go check it out because you wont be disappointed

Jordan Fisher ft. Lin-Manuel Miranda: THEIR COVER FOR YOU'RE WELCOME THOOOO to say I'm obsessed is an understatement. I said I was going to learn the rap by the end of the summer and honestly I think I have it down. So pretty proud about that haha.

GUYS THERE ARE SO MANY MUSIC FAVORITES THIS MONTH

Liam Payne: Strip That Down so... I knew this song was going to be bomb since he announced it with the teaser BUT BOI did I not expect that 1D shade in there. I still am recovering from that but I can't deny that this song is a bop.

Niall Horan: My 1D boys are killin' it! (Louis where you at tho?) Honestly once you listen to Slow Hands there is nothing that will take the tune out of your mind. At least for me there isn't lol.

Will Jay: So if you go back to my old posts I mention a band called IM5... well unfortunately that band broke up and they are all solo artist now (I think? at least Will and Dalton are) and Will released Leading Man  a couple weeks ago and I love it!! It has such an old school vibe and CAN WE JUST TALK ABOUT THIS COVER ART?? I LOVE IT!

okay so I think that is enough of the music talk hahaha. If you want to listen to other songs on my Music May Favorites including Hailee Steinfeld, Selena Gomez, Camila Cabello, Nathan Sykes, La la land and Dirty Dancing... go check out my Spotify playlist!

 Books
I read a couple of books this months but my favorite was All The Bright Places I spoke about it a little in my Summer TBR and I saw that it has a couple of mixed reviews but I honestly loved it. I finished Holding Up the Universe like two days ago and yes it was good but All The Bright places was, I think, a tad bit better.

Flowers

I don't know why I have been obsessed with daisies I find them so dainty and cute!
I've also been loving drawing them.

Drink
I've made it clear that I like coffee but I've been drinking it a lot this month. And no I will not become obsessed.

I think that is all I have for now.

Summer TBR

Hey guys,
So it's summer and I finally can write on here. As much as I love writing and just having this space to write whatever I want, I think this is going to be a Summer thing like it was at first because there is no way I can sit down with the stress of school, especially with senior year coming up (yeah. scary, I know) and I will be taking advanced classes + joining any club I can.
So getting that out of the way, I'm so happy to be back and well today I decided to list out my Summer To Be Read:

1. After You: Technically I started this book five months ago when I was staying at a hotel over winter break but then school started and I read it when I had time which was basically never. I did finish it now at the start of summer so I will put it here nonetheless. This is the sequel to Me Before You which I haven't read but I have watched the movie and I know that is an insult to all book lovers out there but the thing was that I had forgotten to take a book to the hotel and I had to choose from a very small selection that they had in the store and that was the one that most stood out for me, and I'm glad I picked it up because it was a very good read.

2. All The Bright Places: I just finished it and I loved it! Such a strong and important message the author is trying to give to the reader, about how mental health is a very important matter that should not be taken lightly. I loved that she actually had to courage to talk about that matter in an honest and complete way that we got to see inside of what was going on in Finch's mind to make him feel how he felt.

3. Holding Up The Universe: I have this book currently on my desk and after I finish this blog post I'm gonna start reading it. I'm so exited because All The Bright Places was great so I hope this one doesn't disappoint.

4. The Sun Is Also A Star: I mean, the author is Nicola Yoon aka author of Everything, Everything  aka ONE OF MY FAVORITE BOOKS. I really think this book is gonna be goooood. (ALSO MY FRIEND JUST TOLD ME YESTERDAY THAT EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING THE MOVIE HAD COME OUT ???? HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS!?!?!)

5. La Víspera Del Grito: This is actually a Spanish book (I don't think I have ever mentioned this but Spanish is my main language) and I don't really read books in Spanish but the author of the book actually came to my school and I got to be in a chat with her and other students and she actually gave us all a copy of her book. So I will be planning on reading that.

That is all for now, I am really hoping to buy more books soon and if I do I might write another TBR so stay tuned!

Bye Loves!
